My aim with Action Today is to provide you with an ezine that is fun, informative, inspirational, helps you make money online and that you look forward to receiving. Any time that you think I’ve failed to do that I want you to let me know.

 
If you’re anything like me you’re fed-up to your back teeth with these videos of out of work actors who go to great lengths to criticize all of the sharks out there only to go ahead and do the same themselves.

Pedling cheap front-end solutions that will make you quick money followed by endless one-time offers, upsells, downsells, pop-ups by the dozen that leave you annoyed and confused. The only thing that you do know is that their front-end product that promised so much is worthless junk.

 
You won’t find anything like that with Action Today. I do make recommendations from time to time for products and services that I think will help your business but I generally test everything out before I make a recommendation. Occasionally when I know and respect the owner and feel it’s urgent to get something to you without me actually testing it out fully, I’ll say so.
  
It isn’t necessary to cheat and lie to make money online. The basic principles of making a good online income haven’t really changed much since I started out. It takes consistent effort, not necessarily a lot, but consistent. It requires a clear goal and an understanding of the steps to get there.
  

What’s in Action Today?

The consistent theme running through Action Today is Success – your success. But all work and no play makes Jack a very dull boy so I like to include something about what’s going on in my life and I also like to receive your comments about what you’re up to. I include a section on the very important mental aspects of success and interesting quotes from successful people past and present.
  
As I’ve said, I do also recommend products to you from time to time, but Action Today isn’t an excuse for a pitchfest – there are already too many people doing that. I review products and pass on my experiences with products that I buy and use myself.
 

It must be Fun!

Just because we’re building and running a business doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be fun – it has to be. As Henry David Thoreau once said “Most men lead lives of quiet desperation and go to the grave with the song still in them”.

How sad is that? I believe that we become what we think about most of the time and if we concentrate only on things that are not fun, that’s what we’ll get more of. So I try to inject an element of fun into Action Today whenever I can.
 

Action is key

As I’ve mentioned taking consistent action is the key to success with anything and building an online income is no different. That’s why I chose to call this newsletter ‘Action Today’. Even if you only have time to take small steps, if you do those small steps consistently your business and income will grow much quicker that you might be thinking when you start out.

Remember the Chinese proverb that says even a journey of 1000 miles starts with a single step. Then you take another step, and another and before you know it everything starts to snowball and you’re well on your way to where you want to be.
